A few words about William Burke, Founder, Burke Bros. Joinery LTD

My name is William Burke, managing director and founder of Burke Bros. Joinery LTD. In 1974, I began to learn my craft whilst serving as an apprentice in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. I recount these days with such fond memories as I discovered a real passion in working with timber and learning the principles of the joinery business. I come from a family of entrepreneurs and started my own joinery in a small workshop on the family farm in 1977. Through hard work, resilience and dedication not to mention a few setbacks, I am very proud to see the business going from strength to strength.

I still love coming to work every day and it gives me great satisfaction to have our sons, Michael and Christopher involved in the family business. They are an integral part of the business going forward and the future looks bright for Burke Bros. Joinery LTD.

The Burke Joinery team understand that our customers are investing in us as much as the product, so we strive to achieve the highest standards in professionalism and service. Our skilled craftspeople and specialized fitters, some are with us for over 20 years invest time in listening to and understanding what our customer’s want.

We have also invested significantly in our production facility to incorporate the most modern manufacturing technology with a huge emphasis on sustainability. We have a custom built 12,000sq foot joinery workshop and storage unit. We recognise that customer requirements have evolved and we have moved with the times by combining traditional joinery methods with cutting edge manufacturing techniques.
